Both the Tahoe 400 and 500 are constructed from Vango’s highly durable Sentinel DynamicWeave™ fabric, featuring a unique blend of 70D and 100D threads. This premium material offers exceptional strength and longevity, while the impressive 4,000mm hydrostatic head (HH) waterproof rating ensures reliable weather protection in rain or shine. The Tahoe range is crafted using ColourLok Eco™ solution-dyed fabric, a sustainable manufacturing process that significantly reduces water consumption and CO2 emissions. This eco-conscious technology also enhances the fabric’s UV resistance, ensuring the vibrant colour remains intact for many seasons of camping.

The smaller Tahoe 400 is ideal for couples or small groups, offering a compact yet comfortable living and sleeping space, perfect for lightweight camping. Alternatively the Tahoe 500 is fantastic for families or larger groups, featuring extra space for socializing, gear storage, and relaxation, making it the ultimate choice for a home-away-from-home.

The range is kitted out with some of Vango's most iconic features from previous seasons, such as their colour-coded PowerFlex® Fibreglass poles, which are lightweight, strong, and easy to assemble. This system ensures a quick and hassle-free pitching process, so you can spend less time setting up and more time enjoying the great outdoors. They also come complete with Vango's TBS®II Tension Band System which creates a triangular contact point that ensures your tent performs in adverse conditions. Two Diamond Clear window panels flank the main entrance, the roll-up door features a large mesh panel to promote ventilation throughout the living and sleeping areas; this also helps to reduce condensation.

Another great addition for the 2025 season is Vango’s Midnight bedrooms, which are now standard across the range! These darkened bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep by helping to reduce early morning light. With queen-sized dimensions, these sleeping areas provide extra room to stretch out, offering unparalleled comfort for families, taller campers, or anyone who values a good night’s rest.

When tensioned, the bands brace the pole at 3 points, and reduce sideways movement. Adjust TBS®II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles.
