The Vango Faros III Low Drive Away Awning is the ultimate weekend companion, providing a versatile space for relaxation or storage.

Lightweight and compact, The Faros is crafted from Vango’s Sentinel Active 75D fabric, making it perfect for short breaks without taking up precious storage space. The updated design includes additional ventilation panels, ensuring a comfortable and breathable environment wherever your adventures take you.

Packed with practical features, the Faros includes Easy Access flat-entry doors, ideal for wheelchairs, prams, or anyone with reduced mobility. The front king pole door transforms into a sun canopy, creating an ideal spot for al fresco dining. Inside, Diamond Clear Windows flood the space with natural light, while toggled privacy curtains and a mesh front door offer flexibility and bug-free ventilation.

Designed for touring, the awning features PowerFlex® Fibreglass Poles and Vango’s TBS®II Tension Band System for a stable, reliable structure in windy conditions. A sewn-in groundsheet keeps the interior free from draughts and insects, while Clear Visibility Guylines and a bracer pole enhance stability and safety. Fully wind and rain-tested, the Faros is built to perform in all weather conditions.

Attaching the Faros to your vehicle is easy, thanks to multiple attachment methods, including kador strips, over-vehicle straps, and roof bar tabs. The roll-away connecting tunnel detaches neatly, leaving the awning freestanding while you explore for the day. Two tunnel doors provide access to the front or back of your vehicle, with an adjustable tunnel strap ensuring a snug, secure fit.

Additional features, such as SkyTrack® II hanging points for lighting or storage, lantern hanging points, and an oversized carry bag for easy packing, make the Faros a practical and adaptable choice. • TBS®II Tension Band System - Ensures awning performs in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When tensioned, the bands brace the beam or pole at 3 points and prevent sideways movement. Adjust TBS®II to remove slack. Do not over tension, as this may deform the poles. Can be stowed away in calm weather
• Easy Pack Carry Bag - Oversized carry bag to make it easier to pack the awning away
• Toggled Privacy Curtains - Easy to use privacy curtains that can be simply rolled away when not in use
• Fully Wind and Rain Tested - Tested with wind and heavy rainfall to the European standard EN5912

• Touring Awning – This awning is designed for touring use; it is not designed for static or long-term seasonal pitching as extensive exposure to UV light will cause accelerated fabric degradation. UV degradation is not covered under the warranty. However, under normal holiday use your awning will give long service

• Sewn-in Groundsheet - Provides a bug and draught free environment. Groundsheet is attached to the flysheet with an external storm skirt to give all-round protection
• Drive Away - Using the addition of a Drive Away Kit, detach the tunnel area of your awning from your vehicle and roll it away leaving your awning free-standing as you explore for the day. Keep a note of your parking position for when you return and re-attach the awning to your vehicle
• Clear Visibility Guylines - Bright coloured guylines for clear visibility to prevent tripping hazards and ensure stability in high winds.
• SkyTrack® II - A flexible hanging system which allows you to easily attach lighting or storage. The SkyTrack system allows you to customise your awning to suit your needs
