The Vango Tacoma Tent draws inspiration from the classic “vis-à-vis” design, offering a perfect blend of tradition and modern functionality. With sleeping compartments positioned at either end of the tent, this layout ensures added privacy and peace, especially for families or groups with children or guests. The Tacoma provides the ideal solution for those who need separate sleeping spaces, whether it's a family looking for more privacy or a group seeking to keep their spaces apart. Available in 4-berth and 8-berth sizes, the Tacoma is a versatile option for small families, larger family getaways, or scout and guide groups needing ample space for everyone.

Vango has produced the Tacoma Tents using their Sentinel DynamicWeave™ fabric, a new material made from interwoven 70D and 100D polyester threads, ensuring durability, strength, and resistance to wear. This innovative fabric is also enhanced with ColourLok Eco™, a solution-dyeing process that reduces water consumption by up to 80%, making it more eco-friendly while providing superior UV resistance and long-lasting colour retention. With a waterproof rating of 4,000mm HH, the Tacoma offers excellent protection against the elements, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable during unpredictable weather conditions.

The Tacoma Tent features a spacious central living area that encourages family bonding and relaxation. With doors on both sides of the tent, you can easily choose your main entrance depending on the weather. The mesh panels in the doors increase airflow, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air while keeping insects out. These doors can also be converted into a canopy with the addition of king poles, providing a shaded outdoor space for cooking, eating, or simply enjoying the outdoors. For even more living space, an optional side awning (TA003) can be purchased, adding an extra sheltered area for dining or storing muddy gear before entering the tent.

The Tacoma Tents feature Midnight bedrooms that reduce early morning light, helping you sleep longer and more soundly, even as the sun rises. These darkened sleeping pods create a cooler, more restful environment, ideal for longer nights or daytime naps. Inside the bedroom, storage pockets provide a convenient place to store your essentials like phones or torches, so you can easily find them when needed.

The Tacoma Tent has several features designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Cable entry points allow you to run electrical cables into the tent safely, while privacy curtains provide extra seclusion when desired. The mesh windows and low-level vents offer excellent airflow, reducing condensation and keeping the interior fresh. A standout feature for the 2025 season would be the updated U-Shaped doors, which now zip fully around to offer a better seal against wind and stops insects from entering, making the Tacoma Tent more weather-resistant than ever before.

The Tacoma Tent is easy to pitch, thanks to its user-friendly design and colour-coded PowerFlex® Fibreglass poles. The tent's lightweight yet sturdy construction makes it ideal for family camping trips, festivals, and group getaways.
