Product Information

The Klondike Tipi Tent has been a staple of the Tipi tent category for many years now. There are three sizes of Klondikes, you can choice between the S (3m wide), the normal (3.7m wide) or the Grande (4.6m wide) and all have the same features. The Klondike uses a HydroTex Polycotton which is breathable and durable. The polycotton fabric is much lighter than full cotton and that is evident from the pack size and weight making it much easier to tour with. As the tent is a bell style, it is very easy to pitch and pack away so when it comes to drying it out after your trip you can simply peg the base, insert the upright pole and guy it out. Like the normal Klondike the vertical side walls help to increase the height inside of the tent and the ‘A’ frame front door gives stability while keeping that traditional bell tent design.

An aluminium centre pole simply goes up into the witch’s hat so there really isn’t a tent easier to pitch (why not check out our Attwoolls Pitching Video to see how easy it really is). At the top of the tipi there is an opening to allow a wood burner stove flue, so you can still get that ‘off grid’ feel. There is an also an Apex ventilation point which can be opened and closed from down below, so you can adapt your airflow when the weather turns. A strong Oxford Polyester groundsheet can be easily zipped out to be cleaned or removed.

The groundsheet has a zip running from the entrance to the centre pole to allow the wood burner to sit or allow you to store your muddy shoes inside the tent. Throughout the tent Robens have reinforced all of the guylines to ensure the quality is up to scratch and large lower vents help airflow while giving you a bug free night. The front door also features a full mesh door so you can get a great view out of the tent on a night without the insects coming in.
