The Quest Falcon Air Driveaway is a new model for the 2022 season, with many new and unique features built into the awning it really does offer something different to what is on offer from other brands. An example of this is Quest’s new zip-off driveaway attachment. By having a zip along the Kador (beading) it means a fixing kit isn’t required, simply unzip the Kador leaving the awning and van separate and drive away. The Falcon comes in two different attachment heights, a Low (180-210cm) designed for VW’s & Transporters and a Tall (240-270cm) for Motorhomes and Panel Vans. Typically, the tunnel section of the awning offers a good fit as the height bracket is concise, but webbing straps allow it to be adjusted.
The Falcon Air is made from a Lightweight 150D Performance Fabric with a 4,000mm HH to give it good protection from the elements. A boxy shape increases internal usable space and while PVC windows allow plenty of light into the awning, where there are windows there are also privacy curtains which toggle up when needed. The main body of the awning has three entrances, two on either side; both with a secondary mesh door and one at the front. The front door can also double up as a canopy using additional king poles (purchased separately). The tunnel section also has two doors so you can easily have access to the van without going through the main body of the awning.
As the awning is inflatable the Falcon can be pitched in under 10 minutes, as seen from our Attwoolls Pitching & Packing videos, this makes it the ideal awning for short stays, yet has the capability to remain pitched for longer if required. Storm Straps & Bracer beams are included with the awning to maximise its stability.
